INSPECTOR'S TIP:

FRESH PAINT on the exterior and interior of a house may prove very attractive to future homeowners or to an untrained eye. However, to a qualified and experience inspector, it immediately raises an alarm bell. Sometimes fresh paint is used as a decoy to cover up defects such as roof leaks, wood rot, etc.
